The search engine optimisation (SEO) service from Teckna includes:

  • Reviewing the website with you to discuss your aims, what is achievable and what work is required. If we believe your aims cannot be met or your site is not suitable (i.e. Flash based site), then we will tell you and no charge will be made
  • Determine the key phrases we will aim to be found on. These will be based on your view of the industry segment you are in, how you want to be found
  • Your phrases are then optimised by reviewing them against what is actually being searched on. This is completed based on our database of "searches" that covers all the major search engines
  • The site will updated and optimised there may be some changes to content and layout but these are all agreed with you.
  • The site will be submitted to the major search engines using the chosen phrases
  • We will use our "site traffic booster" to jump start your site by linking to it with your key phrases. (please be aware that in general an existing site will take longer to change ranking than a brand new site)

The Myths

  • MYTH:  All I need to do is add META tags and submit my site to a million search engine indexes and directories.
    FACT:  Without competent search engine optimisation you are destined to be search engine fodder. Each search engine requires a different level or type of optimisation and these can change every few months!
